About us

We are native Montanan’s, with a passion for the outdoors. We have two amazing girls, too many chickens to count, a cute dog (he’s a good boy), and three cats. We started Welsummer (the breed of our first ever chicken) Farm, where we sell eggs, chickens, and produce from our garden. Having a curiosity for learning how things are made and realization that I had been putting my time, energy, blood, sweat, and tears running someone else’s business for more than 14 years instead of my own, thus Welsummer Apothecary was started. It’s amazing how many people help make this dream and make it possible for me to grow. To everyone that supports, praises, opens doors, offers advice, or use our products, we are forever grateful to you and couldn’t do what we do without you, you are the heart of our business.
